Customer-Provided Parts Policy
Zakira’s DOES NOT install customer-provided parts under any circumstances. Only in this way can we take full responsibility for selection, installation, servicing and vendor / manufacturer warranting of parts.
Finance Charges
Finance charges of 1.5% monthly will accrue for any unpaid balance starting the tenth (10th) day after notification of completion of repairs.
Storage Fees
A $50/day storage fee will be assessed starting the eighth (8th) day after notification of completion of service for vehicles with unpaid invoices remaining in Zakira’s care.
Limited Repair Warranty
Zakira’s Garage provides a six (6) month Limited Warranty on repairs performed by our shop and covers parts, materials as well as the labor required to repair your vehicle. This shop will repair or replace the defective part warranted with no labor charge if your claim is made within six (6) months from the date repairs were completed and your vehicle was returned to you.
Warranty Provisions
This Limited Warranty will be null and void if the repair is altered, adjusted, or tampered with in any way by any person not authorized by Zakira’s Garage. This warranty is valid only for the person to whom this warranty is granted and whose name appears on the original invoice; it is not transferable. All warranty inspections, repairs, and/or adjustments will be made only at Zakira’s Garage during normal business hours. We make no warranties extending beyond the description of this document. Specifically excluded are incidental costs such as towing fees, car rental charges, travel expenses, or assemblies and components which are not specifically covered by this warranty.
Warranty Requirements
Should a problem arise with your vehicle after you have taken delivery, please contact Zakira’s Garage promptly to make an appointment to have your vehicle inspected. Please bring your original paperwork with you at the time of the appointment. If it is determined that the claim is covered under this Limited Warranty, every effort will be made to prioritize scheduling your vehicle in for inspection / repair. Unless otherwise agreed by both parties, you must bring your vehicle in for the inspection / repair appointment within 30 days of your initial claim.
This warranty is predicated on the vehicle being subjected only to normal, non-commercial use, and receiving reasonable and necessary maintenance during the warranty period, while complying with all required follow up inspections and/or services noted on the original invoice. The warranty will not be valid if the vehicle has subsequently been abused, misused, neglected, in an accident, altered or if subsequent failure of or damage is a result from other parts or systems not repaired on the original invoice. If there is a defect in either parts, materials or workmanship within the warranty period, Zakira’s Garage reserves the right to either perform remedial repairs or replace the defective warranted part(s) without charge.
The original purchaser must pay for any repairs and/or diagnostics performed on your vehicle that have not been authorized by Zakira’s Garage. This warranty does not cover any costs such as loss of earnings, personal injury damages, per diem or any other associated incidental or consequential damages. This warranty does not cover any parts and/or labor not documented on the original invoice. Zakira’s Garage reserves the right to warranty “wear items” such as brake pads/shoes, rotors, clutch discs and tires as seen fit.
