Auto enthusiasts are united by a passion for one type of vehicle or another. For some, it may be a Jaguar XK120. For others, a 1980s Porsche 911 Turbo. Or an awesome resto-mod Defender 110 with an LS3. Or an FJ40 Land Cruiser.
Each of the vehicles below has undergone moderate to significant repair, modification, rejuvenation or restoration at Zakira’s Garage. Some photos are beauty shots, some are owner favorites, some are just taken in our shop. Regardless, each one of these vehicles represents a dream, something the owner cares about, cherishes, enjoys.

custom suspension modifications, ergonomic improvements, remote brake booster, extensive electrical system repair, period-correct copper vacuum lines, custom A/C.
1960 Mercedes 190SL
full mechanical rejuvenation: engine rebuild, brake system, electrical system, gauges, interior (dashboard, etc.), convertible top.
1969 Dodge Charger
complete rework of aftermarket suspension, aftermarket gauges, new steering column, modern headlight cover motors, redo front brakes, fix exhaust leak into passenger cabin.
1985 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60
LS3 V8 engine swap, 5-spd transmission swap, 4:1 transfer case, front / rear air locker, front disc brake conversion, onboard air, high end 12V-120V inverter, expedition front/ rear bumpers, custom internal storage.
1993 Mercedes 190E Sport Edition

1923 Indianapolis 500 winner, total stem to stern restoration completed 2011, truly rare and remarkable race car.

started with just original fiberglass body, in-house custom chassis design / build, custom small block Chevrolet engine, currently racing in Europe.
1912 Ford Model T
possibly the single most important car model ever made, diagnosed / repaired ignition system (spark timer, fabrication), repaired convertible top (metal fabrication, wood repair).
